The biggest uncertainty about dental treatment abroad isn’t quality or price — it’s the question “How does it actually work, step by step?”. This guide walks through the whole journey so you know exactly what to expect and how to plan.
Phase 1: First enquiry (from home)
It all starts online, with no travel:
- You send us an enquiry in English describing your concern.
- Ideally attach a recent X-ray (OPG/panoramic) if you have one — so we can assess what’s possible in advance.
- We reply with an initial assessment and any questions.
That gives you clarity before you travel — no trip “into the unknown”.
Phase 2: Treatment plan & quote
Based on your information you receive:
- a written treatment plan in English with the planned steps,
- a quote (fixed price),
- the number of trips needed and a rough timeline.
Only once the numbers and plan are clear do you book travel. For precise implant planning, a CBCT (3D X-ray) is taken on site.
Phase 3: Travelling to Opole
Opole is easy to reach: ~1 hour from Wrocław and Katowice airports, with budget flights from the UK and Ireland; right on the A4 motorway (~1.5 h from the German border). We help with scheduling so travel and treatment fit together efficiently, and advise on accommodation near the clinic.
Phase 4: On site — diagnostics & treatment
- Examination + CBCT and confirmation/fine-tuning of the plan.
- Treatment — depending on the case: implants, All-on-4, crowns, root canal, etc.
- Everything discussed in English — you understand every step.
- For implants, often immediate loading (fixed temporary teeth the same day) where medically sound.
Phase 5: Healing (at home)
The longest part happens back home:
- For implants, the bone heals over 3-6 months (osseointegration) — you spend that time living normally at home.
- Routine check-ups (e.g. hygiene visits) are done by your local dentist — no need to travel for those.
This usually means only two trips to Opole (procedure + final restoration).
Phase 6: Final restoration & aftercare
- Second trip: the final restoration (e.g. final bridge/crown after healing).
- Guarantee & aftercare are set out in writing; in a guarantee case we correct the work (details: guarantee & aftercare).
- We stay reachable in English, also after you return home.
